Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is seeking a Senior Director, Conferences & Events to provide strategic leadership for a diverse portfolio of national, regional, and role-based convenings serving thousands of attendees annually. The role requires building scalable systems, overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, and driving revenue-aligned event design.

The position is hybrid with in-office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and up to 40% travel, reporting into the Conferences & Events

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience leading large-scale conferences and events.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and vendor contracts.
• Hybrid work schedule with up to 40% travel.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic roadmap for BGCA national, regional, and role-based conferences and learning events.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate vision into successful attendee experiences.
• Provide oversight for events exceeding 3,000 attendees across multiple venues and partners.
• Build scalable processes, tools, and standards for enterprise-wide events.
• Develop in-house capabilities and coach three event managers.
• Own budgets, forecasting, sponsorships, and ROI measurement.
