Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics seeks a Sr. Director of Business for the Landing Systems segment in Burbank, CA.

You will manage key OEM relationships and own the P&L for a major product line (> $150M annually), guiding strategic customer engagement and cross-functional execution to drive profitable growth. The role requires 10+ years in aerospace business leadership, strong pricing and contract negotiation experience, and a BS with MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business management, program management, sales & marketing or strategic partnering in an Aerospace environment.
• Experience in International Business and strong aerospace industry knowledge aligned to the product line being supported.
• Strong knowledge of price build up process, pricing strategies, and a track record of successful pricing negotiations.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense contract terms and conditions, including successful contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead large multilevel direct reporting teams, including CAM, CSA, and Aftermarket functions as assigned by the General Manager.
• Represent the overall Solution as the General Manager’s delegate as needed and assigned.
• Own the assigned product line with pricing, sales/backlog, cost, and strategic initiatives.
• Matrixed leadership for operations, supply chain, program management, and engineering to ensure quality, delivery, and profitability.
• Direct management of Customer Account Management and Business Development Management as assigned by General Manager.
• Escalation path for customer issues and cross functional resolution.
• Support business analytics including Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Planning Process.
