Job summary

Bradsby Group seeks a Sr. Director, Interconnection to provide strategic and operational leadership over the generation and load interconnection functions across a national portfolio of solar, energy storage, and natural gas projects.

This role owns the interconnection strategy end-to-end, from queue positioning and application strategy through study process oversight and interconnection agreement negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the overall interconnection strategy across utility-scale solar, energy storage, and natural gas portfolio.
• Lead, build, and mentor a team of interconnection professionals.
• Serve as a senior representative in interconnection negotiations with ISOs, utilities, and regulatory agencies.
• Direct site selection and transmission feasibility analysis at a portfolio level.
• Oversee the interconnection application and study process across projects.
• Direct engagement of transmission consulting engineers and outside advisors.
• Establish governance for tracking queue milestones portfolio-wide.
• Build senior-level relationships with utilities, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, consultants, and vendor performance.
