Job summary

Bradsby Group is seeking a Manager, Interconnection to manage generation interconnection for solar, energy storage, and natural gas projects in the US. You will oversee pre-application feasibility, interconnection studies, and agreements, working with EPC milestones and a broad set of internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of relevant experience, strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint & Excel), and familiarity with GIA negotiations.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ professional experience in renewable energy or interconnection roles.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced PowerPoint & Excel.
• Experience with project management software.
• Ability to work in the Dana Point, Salt Lake City, Phoenix or Lake Oswego office a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Manage interconnection process for utility-scale solar, storage, and gas projects, including pre-application, submissions, studies, and EPC milestones.
• Coordinate site selection analyses to choose feasible transmission locations timed with queue windows.
• Request and coordinate technical packages prepared by transmission engineers.
• Submit interconnection applications to ISOs/Utilities.
• Ensure timely execution of study agreements and related deposits/fees.
• Track queue milestones: deficiencies, scoping meetings, study agreements, funding, results, and GIA negotiations.
• Coordinate with utilities, regulators, and stakeholders to obtain interconnection approvals.
• Participate in ISO/PTO forums and inform leadership about industry changes.
• Coordinate with Land Acquisition, Engineering, Permitting, EPC, and Operations to build a strong project pipeline.
• Provide interconnection support for project acquisition and financing activities.
• Support co-location of generation projects with data center campuses.
• Maintain company tracking tools and ensure milestones are up to date.
• Oversee consultant and service provider work orders.
