Responsibilities

• Underwrite insurance company credit risk and assign internal ratings.
• Analyze statutory and GAAP financial statements, regulatory filings, capital adequacy, reserves, liquidity, and reinsurance.
• Evaluate investment portfolios, asset quality, liquidity, and market exposure.
• Prepare credit memoranda with rationale and recommended structures.
• Present conclusions to senior management and credit approval committees.
