Job summary

Farringdon Insurance Company Limited is seeking an accomplished senior leader to head institutional investment operations. You will oversee the full trade lifecycle, onboarding, settlements, reconciliations, FX, prime services, and asset servicing for institutional clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
18+ years of progressive institutional operations leadership experience in investment/custody environments.
Deep expertise in trade lifecycle, settlements, reconciliations, FX, prime brokerage, and custody administration.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage institutional investment operations teams across the full trade lifecycle.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of trades, settlements, corporate actions, income collections, and related activities.
Serve as senior operational point of contact for institutional clients, custodians, fund administrators, prime brokers, and external providers.
Maintain strong internal controls and risk management aligned with regulatory standards (OCC) and enterprise risk framework.
Supervise asset safekeeping, settlement, reconciliation, trade fails review, and cash management activities.
Lead due diligence preparation for institutional investor reviews and coordinate responses across operations.
Manage pricing disputes, trade-fail issues with market impact, and escalations with cross-functional stakeholders.
Oversee bond accounting functions including interest accruals, amortization, and reconciliation within custody systems.
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with growth targets for institutional services.
Lead major initiatives: system migrations, process redesigns, new product launches, and technology transformations.
