Job summary

Barings is seeking a Senior Director–Infrastructure Client Portfolio Manager in New York to lead fundraising and client engagement across the global infrastructure platform.

You will act as a strategic bridge among investment teams, sales, product management and investors, translating complex strategies into clear, differentiated messages for institutional and wealth audiences while advancing capital formation and market positioning.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure investing, client portfolio management, product strategy, capital formation, fundraising, or related roles.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure equity and/or debt with ability to lead across areas.
• Experience supporting capital raising and engaging institutional investors, consultants or wealth platforms.
• Strong presentation, writing, and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Proven ability to operate across global, matrixed teams and mentor colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Partner with investment teams and Global Sales to support fundraising and capital formation.
• Lead investor meetings and coordinate marketing materials and due diligence content.
• Articulate investment strategy, market outlook, performance drivers, and risk considerations.
• Build relationships with regional and global distribution teams and provide timely support.
• Coordinate go-to-market strategies and advance business opportunities.
