Job summary

Flex is seeking a Sr Director, Business Development for our Industrial unit, based in Austin, TX and/or Remote U.S. You will qualify new customers, cultivate relationships, and drive pipeline and bookings to meet targets.

A Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, or business and typically 9 years of related experience are required. You will work with executive management, manage budgets, and help shape roadmaps to expand Flex's strategic alliances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or business.
• Typically requires 9 years of related experience.
• Experience with EMS/CMO/engineering environment.
• Understanding of Energy Infrastructure, HVAC, Outdoor Equipment, or Semiconductor markets.
• Knowledge of Strategic Selling techniques.
• Ability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators and act to meet customer and Flex targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop new strategic alliances with key customers.
• Research and recognize customers' business strategy and align Flex resources where mutually beneficial.
• Work with Business Development and Finance to control budgets within the department.
• Assist current accounts in developing and executing product roadmaps and deliver Flex solutions.
• Influence senior management and talent acquisition to strengthen resources.
