Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business Supply Chain or Technical field is required for this position.
• Masters Preferred.
• 5+ years processing procurements subject to FAR/DFARS.
• 10+ years in developing functional strategies for the Supply Chain.
• 10+ years in people leadership experience.
• Proficient in SAP systems and continuous learning mindset.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
• Develops and maintains inventories of materials and supplies at sites and in the factory.
• Maintains required quantity of supplies to optimize production.
• Analyzes inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
• Develops policies to increase efficiency while ensuring quality and safety; implements changes.
• Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with warehousing considerations.
• Assesses needs for material-handling equipment and staffing for efficient movement.
• Negotiates prices for raw materials and delivery with suppliers and carriers.
• Advises product development on availability and cost of supplies.
• Coordinates engineering changes and new product launches for material flow.
• Monitors supplier performance and qualifies new suppliers with other departments.
• Coordinates with other functions to execute Supply Chain activities.
