Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Director of Data Center Development to provide strategic leadership for the design of mission-critical infrastructure across OCI’s global footprint. This role leads a team of design managers, overseeing architectural, mechanical, electrical, and other systems with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Professional licensure as RA or PE.
• Accredited degree in Architecture or related technical discipline.
• 12+ years in data center or mission-critical design.
• Leadership of design professionals and external partners.
• Experience in hyperscale or cloud infrastructure programs.
• Strong understanding of data center systems and standards.
• Ability to establish design governance across projects.
• Experience with complex multi-site portfolios.
• Knowledge of high-density cooling, electrical distribution, and controls.
• Ability to communicate complex issues to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center design management for global portfolios.
• Set governance and performance standards for the design team.
• Mentor design managers and ensure technical quality.
• Provide portfolio-wide oversight of architectural, mechanical, electrical, and other systems.
• Establish design governance from planning to record documentation.
• Ensure designs meet OCI requirements and reliability objectives.
• Provide senior technical leadership for high-density compute environments.
• Drive standardization and repeatability across projects.
• Identify design risks and implement mitigations.
• Represent OCI in executive reviews and partner engagements.
