Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Director of Data Center Development to lead the design management across a global portfolio of hyperscale data centers. You will drive governance, standards, and performance, mentoring senior design leaders and coordinating with Construction, Engineering, Operations, Network, and external partners.

The role requires executive communication, strategic portfolio oversight, and deep knowledge of data center mechanical, electrical, and cooling systems.

Qualifications

• Professional licensure required as a Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE).
• Accredited degree in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical or Structural Engineering.
• 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure design.
• Significant leadership experience managing design professionals and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience leading large-scale hyperscale, cloud, or mission-critical infrastructure programs.
• Strong understanding of data center systems and design governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Center Design Management function for a global or multi-region portfolio.
• Establish governance, priorities, and performance standards for the design management team.
• Mentor design managers and leadership personnel with clear accountability.
• Provide portfolio-level oversight of multidisciplinary data center design.
• Establish design governance across the project lifecycle from planning to record documentation.
• Drive standardization while addressing regional site conditions and regulatory requirements.
• Provide senior technical leadership for high-density compute environments and cooling systems.
• Develop and monitor design performance metrics and portfolio risks.
• Coordinate with internal OCI organizations and external partners to deliver infrastructure.
• Represent OCI in executive reviews, workshops, and partner engagements.
