Job summary

Oracle seeks a Senior Director of Data Center Development to provide strategic leadership for the design of mission-critical infrastructure across OCI’s expanding global footprint. Qualifications

• 12+ years in data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure design and development.
• Proven leadership of design professionals, multidisciplinary technical teams, and external architecture/engineering organizations.
• Experience leading large-scale hyperscale, cloud, colocation, or mission-critical infrastructure programs.
• Strong multidisciplinary understanding of data center systems (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, life safety).
• Ability to establish governance, standards, requirements, and change control across multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Center Design Management function for a global or multi-region portfolio of hyperscale and mission-critical projects.
• Establish governance processes, performance standards, and priorities for the design management team.
• Mentor design managers and leadership, ensuring accountability for execution, quality, and development.
• Provide portfolio-level oversight of multidisciplinary data center design.
• Maintain design governance through lifecycle from Basis of Design to record documentation.
• Ensure compliance with OCI requirements and standards across projects.
• Provide senior technical leadership for high-density compute environments and cooling systems.
• Drive standardization and repeatability while accommodating regional constraints.
• Establish design review, change management, and decision-making processes across the portfolio.
• Identify and mitigate design risks and coordinate across internal and external partners.
• Collaborate with various OCI groups to align infrastructure requirements with designs.
• Oversee consultants, colocation providers, and design partners.
• Define consultant scope, performance, and deliverables.
