Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) seeks a Director of Human Resources to lead the HR strategy for our Conyers, GA HQ. This role partners with business leaders and the corporate HR team to drive people initiatives aligned with the company’s goals and code of ethics.

The ideal candidate will have extensive HR leadership experience in manufacturing, strong consultation skills, and a track record of implementing talent management and performance programs. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, or related field.
• 5+ years leading an HR team/Center of Excellence.
• 10+ years of HR experience.
• 2+ years working with HRISs.

Responsibilities

• Leads and serves as an effective resource for employees to ensure clear communication and alignment to company employee relations goals and initiatives.
• Provides consultation to the business and employees on all aspects of human resources strategy and policy.
• Builds relationships with business leaders, managers, and the corporate HR team(s) to help drive successful people strategies and programs.
• Identifies key development needs and develop project plans and timelines for design and delivery.
• Identifies opportunities and recommends/drives change management strategies to increase performance, reduce cost, and positively impact both HR and the business.
