Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead the HR team across multiple manufacturing plants. Based in Conyers, GA, you will align human capital strategy with business goals, drive performance, and develop robust talent management and succession plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, or related field.
• 5+ years leading an HR team/Center of Excellence.
• 10+ years HR experience.
• 2+ years working with HRISs.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive or machinery a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR team to deliver business objectives for multiple plants across states.
• Provide consultation on HR strategy and policy to business leaders and employees.
• Build relationships with leaders to drive people strategies and programs.
• Identify development needs and design project plans and timelines.
• Support performance management, goal deployment, and cascading objectives.
• Coach managers on leadership and employee interactions to foster a high-performance culture.
• Partner with leaders on strategic hires and act as trusted advisor.
• Ensure compliance with ethics standards, laws, and policies.
• Oversee HR matters and coordinate with EHS on safe work environments and incident reporting.
• Drive talent management initiatives, including recruiting, diversity, compensation, and succession planning.
• Ensure accurate HRIS and payroll data across facilities.
