Job summary

Abode Services in Northern Regions is seeking a Director of Housing. This senior management role provides oversight of housing programs, fosters new partnerships, and guides strategic outcomes aligned with the agency's mission to end homelessness.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 10 years in human services, and 5 years in nonprofit housing leadership, with a California driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of professional experience in the human services, social work, or related field.
• 5 years' experience in nonprofit management with proven housing program implementation.
• Use of personal vehicles and a valid California driver's license with a clean DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to all assigned Housing Programs and housing components of other programs.
• Provide coaching and direct supervision to all staff managing the above-mentioned programs.
• Engage with external stakeholders and ensure program compliance with funding regulations and goals.
• Assist in the creation of annual program reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent the agency in community relations and coordinate inter-department collaboration.
