Job summary

KIPP New Jersey seeks a Managing Director of High Schools (MDHS) to lead Newark high school leaders, shape KIPP Team & Family (KTAF) high school design, and drive college matriculation and SAT/GPA outcomes with a strong culture.

Reporting to the CAO and collaborating with Newark, Camden, Paterson, and Miami regions, the MDHS will coach principals, align regional goals, and build a cohesive, data-driven high school program across the network.

Qualifications

• Experience and results managing or coaching school principals.
• Experience and results as a high school principal.
• 5+ years leading high-performing leaders in a results-driven environment.
• 8+ years total work experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Newark high school School Leaders.
• Dotted-line management in other regions as applicable.
• Owns the KTAF high school strategic plan and leads a cross-functional team.
