Job summary

KIPP New Jersey is seeking a Managing Director of High Schools to lead and improve our high schools across Newark, Camden, Paterson, and Miami regions. The role reports to the CAO and collaborates with regional leadership to advance college matriculation and postsecondary outcomes.

The MDHS will coach a cross-functional high school team, align goals with the org-wide strategy, and help inform the design of KTAF high schools. A strong track record in high school leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or coaching school principals.
• Experience as a high school principal.
• 5+ years leading high-performing leaders in a results-driven environment.
• 8+ years total work experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Newark high school School Leaders.
• Dotted-line management across Camden, Miami, Paterson regions for high school leaders.
• Owns the KTAF high school strategic plan and leads a cross-functional team.
