Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences in San Diego seeks a Sr. Director, HEOR to drive strategic HEOR initiatives and determine the health care value of Neurocrine medicines. You will partner with Medical Affairs, Brand, and Clinical teams to inform payers and clinicians.

The role requires extensive HEOR leadership, real-world evidence expertise, and strong communication skills; significant interactions with payors and HTA groups are expected. On-site in San Diego with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• MS degree in health outcomes/economics or related field with 13+ years pharma HEOR experience; real-world evidence experience preferred.
• Experience creating U.S.-based HTA submissions (AMCP dossiers, budget impact, cost-effectiveness).
• Experience in protocol development, large-database analysis and economic modeling desired.
• Engagement with U.S. payors/HTA organizations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategy and operational plans for HEOR function.
• Sets strategy, designs and implements projects to create product-specific evidence for value assessment and market access.
• Acts as U.S. brand lead for HEOR content and supports stakeholders.
• Manages vendors and internal relationships; mentors staff to meet goals.
• Interacts with senior leadership to influence policy and decision-making; represents Neurocrine at professional events.
