Job summary

Duke Health in Durham, NC, seeks a Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations to lead laundry/linen services, logistics, and inventory management. You will drive cost control, service quality, and operational excellence across the supply chain function.

Reporting to the AVP, you will shape strategic plans, KPIs, and governance, while mentoring teams and overseeing annual budgets. A strong background in healthcare logistics and Lean/Six-Sigma is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/healthcare or related field required.
• Seven years in logistics, supply chain, or healthcare; 2+ years in management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare supply chain principles and regulatory context.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for site operations and logistics.
• Develop and oversee strategic supply chain plans and budgets.
• Drive performance improvements using Lean/Six-Sigma and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with finance to manage annual operating plans and variances.
• Lead talent development, coaching, and succession planning.
