Job summary

Duke Health is seeking an accomplished Vice President, Supply Chain Operations to lead the operational execution of supply chain services across the Duke University Health System. This role drives an integrated operating model spanning hospital and ambulatory operations, inventory, ERP, procurement, and master data management to ensure patient care, service reliability, and business continuity.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain Management, Nursing or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years in healthcare supply chain with progressive responsibility; at least 5 years in executive/senior leadership.
• Experience leading multi-site healthcare supply chain operations across hospitals, ambulatory settings, and complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct the DUHS Supply Chain Operations model and ensure alignment across all operational supply chain functions.
• Provide governance, accountability, escalation pathways, and service ownership across teams.
• Lead enterprise-wide operational planning and service delivery activities.
• Drive uninterrupted supply chain support for hospitals, ambulatory locations, and clinical services.
• Oversee inventory management, ERP and procurement operations, purchasing, customer service, and master data governance.
• Lead readiness planning, change management, and post-implementation stabilization.
