Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in the United States is seeking a Health and Benefits Senior Director to lead client engagements, design and manage health and welfare programs, and grow revenue through strategic advisory and cross-selling.

You will guide project plans, coordinate vendor strategies, mentor teammates, and ensure delivery aligns with client objectives and WTW standards. Excellent communication and executive presence are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience designing/managing complex health and welfare plans.
• Proven ability to generate revenue.
• Track record of success in managing and growing client relationships.
• Executive presence with polished and well developed written and oral communication skills.
• Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
• State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining.
• CEBS designation, or health and welfare actuarial or underwriting training desired.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; HS diploma required

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic partner and trusted advisor to clients in the design and management of their health and benefits programs.
• Lead the client service team in the design and delivery of project plans; ensuring progress against objectives, budgets, timelines, deliverables and quality.
• Proactively advising clients and ensuring the delivery of superior client service.
• Leading vendor procurement strategy, negotiation, implementation, and optimization activities.
• Engaging specialist resources to solve for client needs and generate new business.
• Grow Health and Benefits revenue by anticipating client needs and cross-selling solutions.
• Serve as the Health and Benefits expert in new client pursuits by crafting solutions.
• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring other colleagues.
• Conduct final reviews to ensure alignment to client objectives and optimal recommendations
