ComEd, a subsidiary of Exelon, seeks a seasoned policy leader to direct the company’s state legislative strategy and advocacy. You will build relationships with lawmakers, regulators and stakeholders, shaping positions on legislation and coordinating across teams to advance company objectives.

The role requires extensive travel to the state capitol and active participation in associations, with the ability to lead complex initiatives and develop data-driven analyses for executive leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated communication skills and ability to analyze, interpret and present data.
• Experience leading teams and complex projects in a regulatory or policy environment.
• Strong understanding of utility operations, economics, regulatory and legislative processes.
• Ability to develop and implement process improvements and create value.
• Supervisory experience is required.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate company position on state legislative initiatives; frequent travel to Springfield.
• Coordinate position development with department experts and legislative tracking.
• Direct communications with policymakers and contract lobbyists.
• Organize philanthropic and political events and volunteer fundraising.
• Support PAC strategy and represent ComEd at events.
• Prepare and distribute reports and presentations on legislative activities.
