Exelon is seeking a senior government affairs leader to direct company representation with state officers and the General Assembly. You will guide cross-functional teams, develop positions on legislation, and interact with policymakers to advance ComEd and Exelon objectives.

The role requires frequent travel to Springfield, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to lead strategic advocacy programs within a major energy utility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of utility operations, economics, regulatory and legislative processes.
• Ability to lead teams and manage long-term projects with strategic impact.
• Experience developing positions on legislation and preparing advocacy material.

Responsabilités

• Lead state legislative initiatives to advance company objectives and interface with lawmakers.
• Coordinate with department experts to develop positions and track legislation.
• Communicate with policymakers and contract lobbyists to convey company issues.
• Coordinate philanthropic and political events and fundraising activities.
• Prepare regular reports on legislative activities and initiatives; present to executives.
