Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience preparing, reviewing and editing correspondence, reports, presentations and other documents.
• Experience with or for members of the Texas Legislature, including analysis of legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level legislative and consultation services for the GA team.
• Report to the GA director and lead the GA team.
• Represent GA and DSHS in external/internal meetings with legislative audiences and support agency witnesses during hearings.
