Job summary

RTC seeks a transformational Director of Transportation & Warehousing to lead global logistics strategy across transportation, warehousing, import compliance, and trade controls. You will drive performance, cost reduction, and scalable capabilities for domestic and international distribution, partnering with Procurement, Finance, and Operations.

The role requires 10+ years in logistics leadership, strong negotiation and analytics, and a track record of optimizing freight networks and multi-site

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of transportation, customs regulations, import/export compliance, Incoterms, HTS classifications, tariff management, and global trade requirements.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Experience with ERP, TMS, WMS and logistics analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to use KPIs to drive performance.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in logistics and supply chain.
• APICS CSCP or CLTD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own RTC's transportation and logistics strategy domestically and internationally.
• Oversee transportation performance and resolve disruptions.
• Optimize networks, freight spend, carrier performance.
• Lead carrier strategy, negotiations and relationships.
• Establish transportation KPIs and accountability.
• Provide leadership for warehousing, distribution, and inventory control.
• Sponsor automation and technology initiatives.
• Ensure safety, quality, security and regulatory requirements.
