Job summary

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is seeking a Senior Manager in the Professional Education & Engagement Department of the Science & Health Care Division. This grant-funded position will focus on supporting healthcare professional education programs and coordinating large-scale, inter-departmental projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of program management experience.
• Experience with learning management systems and instructional design is strongly preferred.
• Experience developing online education programs is preferred.
• Strong time management skills.
• Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects in a matrix organization.
• Experience managing budgets.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day program manager to engage a large cross-functional team including staff, vendors, sponsors and stakeholders to develop and execute programmatic elements.
• Work with advisory group members and faculty on invitations, meeting coordination, content development, processing honoraria, and other details.
• Ensure the program is cross-functional and meets grant deliverables and KPIs.
• Plan and deliver professional education through webinars, workshops and in-person trainings.
• Develop educational resources, videos, infographics, and facilitation guides; coordinate translation processes.
• Support instructional design elements such as surveys, polls, and online learning collaboratives.
• Represent ADA in stakeholder meetings with professionalism and openness to new ideas.
• Engage professional audiences to meet needs and promote ADA programs.
• Coordinate development of marketing materials and website elements for audience-specific campaigns.
• Communicate plans and status updates to drive cross-functional collaboration and program development.
• Support program evaluation and assist with execution.
• Monitor budget performance and reallocate resources as necessary.
• Manage post-event analysis and invoice management.
• Support ADA Interest Groups and Advisory Groups as needed.
