Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a transformational Senior Director of Technology Engineering & Innovation to lead strategy, engineering, and modernization of our global infrastructure ecosystem. You will drive enterprise networks, data centers, cloud platforms, and observability, shaping technology choices that enable business growth and exceptional customer experiences.

You will build a high-performing organization, lead large-scale modernization initiatives, and partner with executive leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in infrastructure engineering, operations, platform engineering, or enterprise technology organizations.
• Experience leading large-scale global teams supporting mission-critical environments.
• Proven experience developing infrastructure strategy and executing large-scale modernization initiatives.
• Deep expertise across: Enterprise Networking, Cloud Services, Data Centers, Database Technologies, Infrastructure Operations, Automation Platforms, Reliability Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Micron’s global infrastructure vision and strategy.
• Lead global engineering organizations responsible for network, cloud, database, and infrastructure platforms.
• Drive modernization and AI-enabled operations, service resiliency, automation and cost optimization.
• Establish modern engineering standards including IaC, Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps, and AI-assisted Engineering.
• Create scalable, secure, and resilient technology platforms that accelerate business outcomes and operational effectiveness.
