Responsibilities
- Lead the HEOR strategy team by directing, developing, organizing, and implementing the HEOR, value demonstration, and evidence strategy to facilitate the development of assets toward registration, PR&A, and market launch, ensuring compliance with regulations both domestically and internationally.
- Develop and oversee HEOR strategies and plans for all products within assigned therapeutic areas, ensuring they remain relevant to product development and market needs.
- Design, conduct, and analyze projects across product strategies, managing project execution, budgets, and compliance with scientific, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Communicate findings effectively to internal leadership and external stakeholders such as HTAs, payers, patient advocacy groups, and KOLs.
- Develop and execute post-marketing HEOR strategies, integrating customer needs and scientific realities to support product lifecycle management and market access.
- Provide scientific HEOR support for commercialization, including market access strategies.
- Manage the end-to-end HEOR project portfolio, from strategy to content delivery.
- Partner with Value & Evidence functions to ensure a comprehensive HEOR voice in cross-functional meetings.
- Shape immunology patient access policies and collaborate with stakeholders such as HTA organizations and payers.
- Establish external alliances to generate fit-for-purpose evidence supporting pre- and post-launch assets.
- Develop evidence metrics with payers and access stakeholders to evaluate the impact of treatments on clinical and economic outcomes.
- Create research partnerships with academic and community practices to demonstrate the value of interventions.
- Communicate the impact of evidence partnerships internally and externally.
Preference is for this role to be Hybrid in Lake County, IL, although remote work may be considered.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree (e.g., MSc, MPH, PhD) required.
- 13+ years of experience with MSc/MPH/MBA; 10+ years with PharmD/PhD in HEOR or related fields.
- Deep understanding of health services research methods, including economic modeling, PROs, statistics, and real-world evidence studies.
- Proven experience managing evidence projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HTA organizations like NICE, IQWIG, CADTH, MSAC, ICER.
- Experience managing external research partnerships and non-interventional studies.
- Knowledge of health technology development processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and influence stakeholders within a matrix organization.
- Experience in early drug development and commercialization preferred.
- Previous leadership experience with a track record of stakeholder engagement and delivering results.
