Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Director of Clinical Development to provide strategic oversight of all phases of clinical drug development. The role involves designing and executing Clinical Development Plans, leading trials and programs, and collaborating with regulatory authorities and external partners.

The incumbent will ensure adherence to GCP, SOPs, and internal standards while supporting cross-functional teams and external stakeholders globally.

Qualifications

• MD degree and a minimum of 2 years of clinical drug development experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing one or more global clinical programs.
• Knowledge of regulatory processes, R&D milestones and decision points.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to and approves study protocols and related clinical documents.
• Manages timelines and coordination across cross-functional teams.
• Represents the study team in meetings with external stakeholders.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and SOPs.
• Advances opportunities such as target selections or due diligence.
