Pact, a global nonprofit, seeks a Senior Director, Business Development and Fundraising to lead the BD unit, drive cross-organizational growth, and secure funding from diverse sources. The role focuses on strategic planning, bid leadership, and donor engagement across health, governance, capacity development, and sustainable markets.

The position is hybrid, based in the Washington, DC area, with travel as needed.

Competenze

Master’s degree and 12+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, including 7 years of management experience.
Track record of winning new work from public sector donors, such as US Department of State or other USG entities, UK FCDO, World Bank or other multilaterals.

Mansioni

Lead the Business Development (BD) unit and align BD activities with organizational goals.
Maximize existing relationships and source new prospects from foundations, corporations, and funders.
Oversee implementation of a diversified development strategy and annual goals.
Collaborate with iComms and Programs to develop external communications, proposals, and pitches.
Provide high-level oversight and personally lead proposal development, including bids and color team reviews.
Advise on donor relationships and pre-bid intelligence for large opportunities.
Lead regional business development strategies with Country Directors and Impact Area Leads.
