Job summary

Reformation is seeking a Senior Director of Accounting to own the corporate accounting function during a period of rapid growth and a public company trajectory. You will lead the month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls while partnering with executive leadership across Finance, FP&A, Operations, and Supply Chain.

You will oversee a high-performing team, drive scalable processes, and maintain technical accounting standards in a fast-paced, global retail environment.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years leading accounting teams
• Deep expertise in general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting in a multi-entity environment
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting standards; ability to partner with specialists
• Experience operating in a public company reporting environment with SEC and SOX familiarity
• Familiarity with inventory and cost accounting in retail/apparel/CPG contexts
• Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting plus private industry experience preferred
• Advanced ERP experience; NetSuite strongly preferred
• Strong people leadership and cross-functional alignment at a senior level
• Self-motivated, collaborative, autonomous in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end and year-end close across the full general ledger, including fixed assets and intercompany accounting
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports for executive leadership
• Reconcile and investigate outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies
• Support external filings under US GAAP and SEC requirements
• Lead internal controls and SOX readiness; manage the annual financial audit with external auditors
• Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team and partner with across FP&A, Ops, Supply Chain, and Finance
