Job summary

Marqeta is seeking a Senior Director, Corporate FP&A to lead the company-wide planning, forecasting, and operating expense function. You will inherit a small but capable team and drive automation, data flows, and standardized processes across planning, budgeting, and reporting.

You will partner with the CFO and executive peers to shape the operating plan, long-range plan, and board communications, while owning Opex, headcount, vendor spend, and capex.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; MBA welcomed but not required with equivalent experience.
• CPA or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive FP&A experience at scaled operating companies, including meaningful public-company FP&A experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation of recurring FP&A processes and reporting.
• Own company-wide opex forecasting end-to-end (headcount, vendor spend, T&E, capex).
• Partner with CFO, exec team, and functional leaders on strategic investments.
• Develop planning rhythms: AOP, LRP, quarterly forecasts, monthly close commentary, board materials.
