Job summary

ATI is seeking a Senior Director, Operational FP&A (HPMC) to lead financial planning and analysis for the High Performance Materials & Components segment. You will partner with BU finance and operations across multiple sites to drive forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and capital evaluation.

The role requires strategic influence with senior leaders, the ability to standardize processes, and a track record in manufacturing finance to improve profitability and working capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience across FP&A, operational finance, strategic finance, or business finance leadership within complex manufacturing organizations.
• Demonstrated success supporting multiple manufacturing sites or business units in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Corporate Finance leader supporting ATI's HPMC segment, partnering with Specialty Materials and Forged Products leadership.
• Travel up to 60% during the first year to develop a deep understanding of operations and drive financial performance.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, assess business risks, and uncover opportunities for strategic objectives.
• Lead operational forecasting, annual budgeting, long-range planning, and multi-year financial planning processes.
• Review growth initiatives, capital investments, long-term agreements, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly income statements, cash flow, and operational performance forecasts.
• Develop executive-level presentations and financial analyses for senior leadership and Board discussions.
• Ensure delivery of financial commitments while driving standardization and improved reporting capabilities.
• Perform capital expenditure analyses and investment evaluations for strategic decision making.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models; lead consolidation of operating plans.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, forecasting, and analytics.
• Lead or support special projects requiring financial leadership and partnership.
• Mentor finance professionals and promote professional growth.
