Job summary

Alliance Defending Freedom is seeking a Senior Director of Foundation Partnerships to set portfolio strategy, manage top-tier foundation relationships, and drive six- and seven-figure gifts. You will report to the VP of Development and lead a team to broaden access to funders and meet ambitious revenue goals.

Therole involves coaching staff, aligning with organizational vision, and building durable partnerships across ADF’s mission.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of fundraising experience with proven success closing six and seven-figure gifts.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Understanding of budgets as they relate to proposals and grants.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills: MS Office and Salesforce.
• Ability to travel up to 40 nights per year.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a multi-year growth strategy for the Foundation Partnerships team and align with revenue growth.
• Own the foundation forecast and report activity, pipeline, and revenue projections.
• Lead six- and seven-figure conversations and closures within the top-tier portfolio.
• Convert relationships into access for the Foundation Partnerships team and engage senior leaders.
