The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking a Deputy Director of Fleet Operations to supervise statewide fleet activities including automobiles, trucks, and construction equipment. You will advise on fleet programs, policies, and resource allocation, and help manage budgets for capital, rental/leasing, and operations.

Oversee development, coordination, and monitoring of equipment budgets (capital, rental, and operations).
Develop and implement equipment life cycle management systems.
Ensure district/division equipment availability and emergency response readiness.
Plan deployment strategies to maintain an effective fleet size.
