The Sr. Director - Financial Systems and Data Strategy is a senior leadership role responsible for developing, integrating, and optimizing all financial systems and data strategies. Reporting to the CFO, this role ensures data accuracy, accessibility, and strategic use, leading financial data governance and overseeing systems like Certinia/Financial Force, Salesforce, BI tools, and more. Collaboration with business, finance, and IT teams is essential, requiring expertise in project management, accounting, data strategy, and system integration.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage financial systems, data governance, reporting, and analytics, requiring strong project management and collaboration skills, with a focus on compliance and risk management.
• Ensure seamless integration among financial and business systems, optimizing functionality for planning, reporting, and compliance.
• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive financial data strategy, establishing governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance, while collaborating with business units for change management and prioritization.
• Oversee financial data reporting, leveraging analytics and BI tools to enhance forecasting, analysis, and decision-making via dashboards and reports.
• Develop deep knowledge of business platforms and systems to anticipate impacts of changes and ensure data integrity through proper updates and merges.
• Support month-end financial close processes, ensuring adherence to internal controls and audit standards.
• Lead a team of financial systems analysts/product owners, coordinating with application owners and stakeholders across finance, accounting, sales, IT, and other departments, including integration with Stepstone Group systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related fields.
• 8-12+ years of experience in financial systems administration, data strategy, or similar roles.
• Expertise in Certinia/FinancialForce, Salesforce, Power BI/Tableau.
• Strong knowledge of data management, analytics, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and large-scale system implementations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Information

• Travel is occasional, a few times per year, for meetings.
• This role involves supervising the financial systems team and collaborating with system owners.
