Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience in progressively more responsible strategy development and execution, project management, business development, consulting, or financial roles.
• Experience directing strategy programs/ agenda within a corporation or management consulting firm.
• Experience in portfolio or corporate planning type functions.
• Experience with large-scale and complex transformation change efforts in retail organizations.
• At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
• At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross- functional team leadership.
• Willing to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Responsibilities

• Leads delivery of strategic initiatives by coordinating teams to define, manage and deliver results.
• Implements Walgreens strategy through collaboration, setting priorities and guiding complex work streams.
• Establishes and drives a company-wide portfolio management process for prioritizing and monitoring initiatives.
• Assists leadership in accountability and value creation through metrics and prioritization.
• Provides analysis and guidance on transformation decisions to executives.
• Coordinates with finance and operations to align benefits with forecasts.
• Sets up governance forums to drive objectives and mobilize teams.
• Oversees portfolio process design and tools across PMO teams to improve customer satisfaction and cost savings.
