ERM is seeking a Consulting Director, Environmental FERC, to lead permitting strategies for natural gas transmission, LNG, hydrogen, renewables, and carbon sequestration projects across the United States. The role combines regulatory expertise, client advisory, and team leadership to advance ERM’s energy practice.

You will guide complex federal, state, and local permitting processes, manage diverse project teams, and contribute to business development while delivering high-quality environmental

Qualifications

• 8+ years of environmental impact assessment and natural resources permitting experience on FERC-regulated projects.
• Experience managing the permitting of large natural gas and LNG projects, including oversight of complex FERC applications.
• Knowledge of NEPA, Clean Water Act, Rivers and Harbors Act, NHPA, ESA regulatory framework.

Responsabilités

• Lead environmental permitting strategies and multidisciplinary teams across the US.
• Serve as primary client contact and support business development with existing and prospective clients.
• Develop technical proposals and identify new project opportunities.
• Engage with regulatory agencies including FERC and other agencies.
• Deliver high-quality project outcomes in fast-paced, geographically diverse environments.
