Qualifications

• 10+ years leading external communications in agency or in-house settings.
• Strong B2B technology background across energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or related sectors.
• Experience building brand positioning, messaging, and narrative platforms for high-growth companies.
• Seasoned client lead capable of counseling CEOs, CMOs, and senior executives.
• Proven media instincts with top-tier coverage in new and traditional media.
• Excellent writer and content strategist for thought leadership and customer stories.
• Deep understanding of earned, owned, and social channels and platform-specific storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated communications programs across earned media, executive thought leadership, owned content, and digital channels.
• Manage client relationships, providing strategic counsel and anticipating program needs.
• Shape and lead moments like launches, announcements, funding, and milestones.
• Partner with executives to develop thought leadership platforms, including bylines and speaking engagements.
• Identify timely storytelling opportunities tied to industry, policy, and cultural moments.
• Write and edit high-impact materials: messaging frameworks, brand narratives, thought leadership, and long-form content.
• Build and maintain media relationships across tech, climate, and energy sectors.
• Lead and mentor teams, ensuring high-quality work and growth opportunities.
