Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis is seeking a Senior Director, Employer Program Management to lead the PMO for Lilly Employer. You will translate strategy into a prioritized portfolio, align capacity, and oversee cross-functional launches with partners and vendors.

You will drive change management, ensure compliance, and build a high-performing team, delivering measurable employer outcomes while reporting to the Lilly Employer Leadership Team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; 8+ years in program management or technology delivery.
5+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs or PMO.
3+ years leading program or project managers, including hiring and development.

Responsibilities

Stand up and run the Employer PMO; map and optimize planning and reporting.
Establish one system of record and portfolio views; automate reporting with AI tools.
Plan and prioritize the portfolio; lead annual/quarterly planning with clear owners and milestones.
Run capacity, dependency, and release readiness reviews with cross-functional leads; enable explicit trade-offs.
Lead high-stakes programs across multiple functions including launches, CRM, platforms; manage external partners.
