Job summary

BlueTeam seeks an Associate Director – Emergency Response to lead and optimize all emergency response operations for the commercial restoration division. This role coordinates dispatch, resources, and regulatory compliance during disasters, ensuring rapid mobilization and continuous operations across incident sites.

You will guide field teams and vendors, develop response protocols, maintain safety standards (IICRC/OSHA), and train staff.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in mitigation or restoration services, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in time-sensitive environments.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with CAT response logistics and large-scale mobilization.
• Ability to travel on short notice and remain deployed for extended periods during CAT events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Logistics Team and Restoration Team during emergency events.
• Lead resource allocation, deployment, and site readiness.
• Serve as primary operational liaison between operations management and field teams.
• Mentor Superintendents and field staff during activations.
• Develop emergency response protocols and rapid mobilization strategies.
• Build and maintain a pool of national emergency response vendors for surge capacity.
• Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures.
• Develop emergency response training modules and conduct drills.
• Conduct post-response reviews and document best practices.
