Job summary

Slate is seeking a General Manager for slate.auto to own the storefront experience, from discovery through preorder and checkout, ensuring optimal content, pricing, and delivery messaging. You will steer the product roadmap for discovery, configurator, and the Marketplace, measuring success by conversion and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of GM experience in eCommerce, digital product, or consumer retail.
• Ownership of top-of-funnel conversion with measurable gains.
• Product management leadership across customer-facing and internal products.
• Track record of lifecycle, CRM, or loyalty programs that increased repeat purchase.
• Strong quantitative skills, including SQL, funnel and cohort analysis, and experiment design.
• Experience with physical goods where inventory, fulfillment, and logistics shape the customer experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, including managing managers.

Responsibilities

• Steward the slate.auto buying experience from first visit through preorder and checkout, optimizing content, pricing, and delivery messaging.
• Own the roadmap for vehicle discovery, configurator, cart, checkout and owner account; write requirements and measure releases.
• Build engagement and lifetime value; renewals, new drops, and partnerships.
• Develop customer service and reverse logistics products including self-service workflows for customers and service providers.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, finance, and legal to scale GenAI tools across corporate functions.
