Zusammenfassung

Slate is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the Commerce engineering team in building the direct-to-consumer EV brand’s shopping and fulfillment platform.

You will guide architecture, delivery, and best practices across product discovery, configuration, cart/checkout, payments, and order management, while growing a high-performing team and partnering with Product, UX, and Program Management to deliver customer-centric software at scale.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience building and delivering customer-facing software.
• 5+ years leading and developing software engineering teams.
• Strong technical leadership experience including architecture and trade-offs.
• Experience designing and operating reliable, scalable distributed systems (web services, APIs, cloud infra).
• Experience with modern ecommerce architectures and integrations across catalog, cart/checkout, payments, orders, fulfillment.
• Familiarity with marketplace or multi-vendor commerce models.
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and deliver high-quality solutions in fast-paced environments.
• Experience partnering with Product, UX, and PM teams to deliver customer-driven software.
