Job summary

Slate is seeking a Senior GM to own slate.auto, drive the top of the funnel, and lead product management for the storefront and marketplace. You will partner with engineering, design, supply chain, and finance to set a compelling, data-driven roadmap, with a focus on conversion, retention, and lifetime value.

You have 12+ years in GM roles, ecommerce leadership, and a track record of balancing product, partner networks, and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of GM experience in ecommerce/digital product or consumer retail.
• Ownership of top-of-funnel conversion for a consumer site with measurable gains.
• Product management leadership across customer-facing and internal products.
• A track record of lifecycle or loyalty programs increasing repeat purchases.
• Strong quantitative skills, including SQL and funnel analysis.
• Experience with physical goods where inventory, fulfillment, and logistics shape the customer experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams including managers.

Responsibilities

• Steward the slate.auto buying experience and set the standard for product content, merchandising, pricing display, availability and delivery messaging, payments, checkout, and site performance.
• Own the top of the vehicle purchase funnel from first visit through preorder, guiding customers through discovery, configurator, payment estimate, and preorder; measure conversion and hand off to teams.
• Lead product management for the storefront including roadmap for discovery, configurator, cart/checkout, and owner account; write requirements and set priorities with digital engineering and design.
• Keep owners engaged through lifetime of product, including new product drops, collaborations, and lifetime value measurements.
• Build customer service and reverse logistics product with self-service workflows and partner network tools; enable scheduling, parts, and escalation to Slate.
