Job summary

Nuvation Bio, Inc. is seeking a Director of Drug Product to lead formulation and process development across the portfolio from discovery through clinical phases to potential commercialization.

The role bridges preclinical findings to viable clinical drug products and coordinates with internal teams and CRO/CMO partners. The successful candidate will manage GMP manufacturing for clinical programs, drive development strategies, and ensure timely, compliant submissions while mentoring teams and

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• 8+ years of related experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology.
• Progressive experience from preclinical through late-phase development.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, regulatory guidelines, and drug product.
• Experience leading outsourcing to CRMOs and managing vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead drug product development from discovery through clinical phases to registration.
• Bridge preclinical findings to clinical dosage forms for first-in-human studies and beyond.
• Identify and manage CRMOs for formulation screening, development, scale-up, and validation.
• Oversee GMP manufacture of drug product for clinical programs.
• Develop cost-effective manufacturing routes meeting target product profiles.
• Coordinate internal functions and external partners for regulatory submissions and programs.
