Job summary

Renesas seeks a senior leader to head workload and performance analysis, HW/SW optimization and co-design for SoC architectures. You will drive architecture decisions and performance methodologies across product lines.

You will partner with product groups and executive leadership to define and analyze products and SoCs for performance, power and AI workloads, promoting reuse and next‑gen design methodologies.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or CS.
• PhD highly desired for senior role.
• 15+ years in semiconductor or SoC development.
• 8+ years in technical leadership.
• Proven experience in performance and workload analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive strategic roadmap for workload analysis and performance.
• Lead architecture performance reviews for IP/SoC and subsystems.
• Establish best practices for HW/SW co-design and MB development.
• Provide cross-functional technical leadership across teams.
• Mentor directors and senior engineers; foster collaboration.
