Job summary

PetMeds/PetCareRX (“Pets”) is seeking a Senior Manager of Digital Merchandising to own the content layer of the digital storefront, driving messaging, content, and merchandising that convert visitors to customers.

The role collaborates with Marketing, Merchandising, Product, and Analytics to ensure the site reflects customer intent and business objectives, while improving funnel performance and revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business-related field.
• 5–7 years in ecommerce or digital merchandising with 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience managing onsite content/merchandising for a high-volume ecommerce business; pet, health, or regulated retail experience is a plus.
• Strong analytics and ability to translate data into optimization actions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and OKRs for messaging, content and merchandising, personalization, product content, onsite search/navigation, product recommendations, and SEO/AEO to drive engagement, conversion, and revenue.
• Translate business priorities into content and conversion strategies across the site, ensuring the team works toward measurable conversion outcomes.
• Own merchandising plans aligned to business priorities including promotions, launches, seasonal moments, and inventory strategies.
• Define and evolve personalization approaches toward one-to-one site experiences based on customer identity and needs.
• Monitor site performance metrics to inform optimization opportunities and continuous improvement.
