Job summary

Kepler is seeking an Associate Director, Activation in New York to lead a team of digital media professionals responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing performance-driven campaigns across multiple channels. The role blends hands-on media expertise with leadership, strategic problem solving, and close client partnerships.

You will coach a team of direct reports, shape campaign strategy, and ensure strong performance against client objectives.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of hands-on digital media experience across paid search, paid social, and programmatic.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing at least 3 direct reports with coaching and feedback.
• Strong working knowledge of major digital media platforms, campaign management tools, and analytics solutions.
• Proven ability to translate data and performance trends into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Experience developing cross-channel media strategies balancing execution with client objectives.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with credibility across stakeholders.
• Creative, analytical problem-solving approach to optimize campaigns and processes.
• Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 3-8 direct reports on campaign strategy, execution, and professional growth.
• Apply hands-on media expertise across multiple channels and provide guidance as needed.
• Oversee development, launch, and ongoing optimization of digital media campaigns.
• Guide strategic campaign development with data-driven media strategies and structures.
• Act as subject matter expert for clients, media partners, and internal teams.
• Translate campaign results into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Build strong client and partner relationships to align on goals and improve effectiveness.
• Drive innovation and operational excellence across platforms and workflows.
