Qualifications

• 15+ years in construction management (small and large projects).
• Design-build experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering, or architecture.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ethical with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble solicitation packages; review design documents.
• Negotiate contracts throughout the life of the project.
• Oversee design and construction contracts; manage modifications.
• Conduct site investigations and cost budgeting.
• Monitor scheduling; verify milestones before payments.
• Obtain licenses/permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide on-site owner project management.
• Oversee contractor performance; ensure safety and quality.
• Perform inspections and QC with agencies.
• Coordinate occupancy with building management and tenants.
• Integrate design and construction into proforma.
• Close-out activities and documentation.
