Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC seeks an experienced real estate development professional to manage the Region's development pipeline from cradle to grave. You will oversee due diligence, underwriting, and coordination with consultants through design and construction, while ensuring budgets, timelines, and regulatory requirements are met.

You will maintain strong equity partner communications, develop market relationships, and lead a production team, driving priority projects to successful completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in real estate development.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience overseeing the entire lifecycle of development projects.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• Analytical and quantitative skills with real estate underwriting knowledge.
• Leads with vision and develops their team.
• Track record managing local community and political relations.

Responsibilities

• Manages due diligence on land opportunities and prepares recommendations.
• Prepares investment memorandums with pro-forma analyses for Investment Committee.
• Coordinates with consultants, permit expeditors, and construction teams to meet permitting requirements.
• Administers development status reporting and timelines for projects.
• Represents ownership in day-to-day project management and site activities.
• Reviews monthly draws, monitors budget, and identifies savings/overages.
• Manages construction team relationships to ensure on-budget, on-plan delivery.
• Maintains equity partner communications and provides project updates.
• Develops relationships with brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders, and mentors team members.
